Cheap and cheerful with a mouthful of fruit and tannin. Always a crowd pleaser and something I can serve to friends who aren’t “wine people.” A great bottle to open when you’re drunk and it’s 2am and you don’t need to open anything too nice but you’re not looking to guzzle Apothic Red.

On Pappadeaux wine list. A very fruit forward cabernet with nice black cherry and BlackBerry notes. Not very complex, but enjoyable with food and company!

Absolutely fantastic Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2015 has by far been my favorite vintage. An excellent sipping wine for any occasion, though by the fire with any kind of savory hors d'oeuvres is always a winner.
