14.8% alc.

Quite full-bodied bordering on overripe this still has nice acidity to carry the weight.

Tasted blind it was a nice surprise on the palate.
Looking it up online afterwards it is a nice surprise on the wallet.

93% Cab, 7% Petit Sirah, from the top regions of Central Coast. Spice box, tobacco, cassis, blackberries. Under $25 this is wide open and rocking!

like the complexity of this cab; great aroma, not overwhelmingly oakky

Cheap and cheerful with a mouthful of fruit and tannin. Always a crowd pleaser and something I can serve to friends who aren’t “wine people.” A great bottle to open when you’re drunk and it’s 2am and you don’t need to open anything too nice but you’re not looking to guzzle Apothic Red.

Cigar box aromas with cherries and black fruit. A bit stalky and green suggests it could use a bit of bottle age. Not bad for the price.
