Fruit sourced from Eden Valley, one of the two sites is the highest vineyard in Eden.
As a result we have a lot of lift, freshness as well as the pecualiar notes from the area.
This wine is pure joy when you drink, very dangerous the way it goes down.
It has the dark fruit and a very distinctive licorice that makes it special for me. Long and pleasant.

A big thank you to Small Victories for this media sample of their 2021 Eden Valley Shiraz. Some days it definitely does feel like a small victory just getting through the day to wine time 😅

In the glass it’s a brilliant purple red magenta shade. It’s wonderfully aromatic with a ‘toasty warm wood fire’ feel to it. There’s spiced plums, red berries, toasty oak and a hint of mint in there. In the mouth it’s juicy and full of flavour yet deliciously refined and smooth.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
