Foothills without the alcohol....could’ve fooled me...fun and delicious

2010. Still young. There's a freshness here. It's 15.4% abv but so agile you'd never guess it. Concentrated, with subtle acid and impressive balance. Cool, sleek, spicy, and confident. Wish I had kept it a few more years. Dee-lish.

Estate Syrah, decant before pouring. Opens easily. Lots of black fruit notes on the front end, structured but not grippy mid palate, very balanced acidity, long easy finish, no heat for a big Syrah. Great wine.

A hint of dryness. Maybe just some strong tannins (i.e. Needs time to soften). Red fruit. Robitussin. Some heat.

Not enough fruit for me, but does have a nice finish
