Comes out swinging like a somewhat drier starburst candy—very intense concentration of red & black fruits, but w some air settles nicely into sanity. I had post meal but really begs for food-roasted sweet potatoes, perhaps

Solid! Love the brightness this has on the palate, crunchy brambly fruit, blood orange and spice driven. A nice layer of meat and savory herbs intertwined, herbal notes shine through on the finish. Great intro into what CA can do with Mourvèdre without breaking the bank.

Medium ruby red. Delicate yet layered nose with notes of damp forest floor, red cherries, strawberries, and a touch floral. Medium tannins (5.5/10) with a light plus to medium bodied. Coated in dried red berries, cherries and strawberries with some dried herbs too. Dry and medium plus finish. Drinking well with up to an hour in the glass. Drink till 2023.

Made up of 99% Mourvèdre and 1% Grenache. Aged for 11 months in 100% neutral French oak. Only 380 cases produced and retail price is $28.00. Sample provided by the winery.

Pretty from the get-go. Elegant. Concentrated. Balanced. This thing hums. Delicious. Wish we had a magnum.
