Vintage 2018 | Is it thanks to climate change that wines from Northern Europe - Luxemburg, Belgium and my own country the Netherlands - can be quite astonishing. This monastery wine is made from Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris and has an seductive smell with hints from passionfruit, pear and sechuan pepper. The taste has predominantly a splashing citrusfruit with nice acidity. Very good effort. Paired with figs/ham as appetizer and a Liege Salad.
