2012 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 1.25 hours open. Heavy body. Always too soon/early with these wines, whether white or red. Likely shouldn't be approached or flirted with for another 15 years to properly evaluate. Some chunky bite but mostly über-smooth bark. From what I'm told, they own the copyright for the stunning bottle shape style. 05.30.25.

Jul 5th, 20232012 Sine Qua Non Touché Estate Syrah. Pairing well with Gail’s Tie dye designs (tiedyebygail.com). Amazing Syrah for the actual birthday meal at Ca Bianca in Santa Rosa. We really needed this vacation after working the Pacific Dream Machines show with her tie dye vendor booth. Best winery visits were Kamen, b-wise, and Mumm. After two nights of Granache, gobsmacked by this Syrah.

2012 Vintage. Consistent with prior notes but the fruit was a bit restrained and tannins more pronounced in this bottle. Still, a great wine to say we’ve survived 2020.
