2008 is finally ready. A bit of sediment at the end which indicates drink sooner than later to enjoy the massive fruit.

Absolutely stunning nose of barbecued meat, dar sour fruits, kirsch, violets, and pencil lead. Initially very focused on the palate, but then expanded to reveal additional layers of flavored that echoed (in a subdued way) the nose. Graceful finish goes on forever. Powerful elegance, Manfred’s signature call. This one is probably still too young...but it’s awesome nonetheless.

Social distance wine lunch in the parking lot of a great restaurant in Virginia. This impromptu wine lunch came together in like a day because we got a 70+ degree day here in Nov. it became a mostly SQN lunch. These wines are amazing.
