Quotes from the table: “The colour of unhealthy dark urine”; “this is radioactive in my mouth, but in a good way”; “WTF is this, it’s like no white I’ve ever tasted...pass that back here right now”
And that about sums it up. Magical SQN white.

As if Part 1 of Saturday night wasn’t incredible enough, Part 2 of the final and main event for the Fall WNH was all Sine Qua Non wines. The most spectacular lineup of wines I’ve ever seen, and an overall wonderful ending to an amazing trip with fantastic people.

The second SQN White we enjoyed (after having the ‘15 “ Entre chien et Loup” the night prior) was this beautiful wine. This is more Roussanne dominant than the prior bottle, which explains the more waxy, cool mint, nutty aromas and notes on the palate. Honeyed fruit with a toffee like finish. What a white wine! Thanks

Gorgeous gold color, buttered toast, brioche, honeysuckle, orange blossom, lemon oil with some floral notes. Beautiful texture probably from the Roussanne component. Yet another masterful blending job by THE MAN. Full-bodied with nice crispness. Superb honeyed richness. 3 hour decant. Actually recommend holding these for a while. I'll be sitting on my remaining 11 (or at least 6 of them). They'll get nothing but better. If you can't wait, decant for a minimum of 3 hours.

This one changed a lot in the glass over an hour. Got a lot better with time.

Exotic and aromatic nose displaying white-stoned fruits and fresh brioche. Palette is lithe and textured for a white wine. Beyond medium sweet, finished with hard toffee notes. Good acidity brings up the rear. This is a serious white, with medium-term cellaring capabilities.

Very nice at the onset, much better 2 hours later. Incredibly well integrated.

13' Sine Qua Non Resiste. A Rhone & white burgundy blend. Full- Bodied ! I think if you asked 3 people, you would get three different opinions on the nose. Without a doubt floral/citrusy notes on the nose. Keeps EVOLVING in the glass, even after almost 2 hours of decanting.
I'm in love with the balance of this wine. Just enough acidity/oak in it. The palate is full of pineapple, peach, orange peel, donut holes, honey, etc. This and the Ovid white(Rhone/ Burgundy)are worth looking into. The difference is the SQN could age another 10+ years. I'll wait a few years to open the rest of them.
