Nose of black earth and bacon fat. Soft as duck down and laden with asphalt, blueberry pie and more meat drippings, not a hard edge to be found here. Big oak is resolved to make this even softer and rounder. A masterpiece.

2006 vintage. Super smooth with the body of a world-class powerlifter-still wowza bigg. Spice componentry only noticeable on the finish...entry/mid palates echoing a gigantasaurus fruit presence and a heady sweet/savory mix. Tasted an hour after decanting and not throwing much sed. Personally, wanted a few speed bumps/cobblestones to point/cling to on the way to Plushyville but none enroute during this trip. 3.22.23
