😳 What a wine! SQN is so freaking unique, and I hope my time on their waiting list speeds up! I've been fortunate to taste a few older SQNs, but this Syrah seemed to have the most age left in it. Powerful wine.
There is some funk to this, and it doesn't have as much prevalent smoked meats to it yet, but I believe it's just a matter of time. The texture and finish on SQN's can't be rivaled. Blackberry jam, fleshy red fruit skins, brioche. Need more of these in my life! Such an awesome bottle by @Keith Fisher !

Not a perfect label re-creation but a near perfect wine. Impeccable balance, opulence, decadence, ridiculous tasty-ness, game meats gone wild and a vial of black tar heroin mixed with a bacon fat berry sandwich and a quick dash of white pepper.....minus the black tar heroin.
