Cherry cola. Light but with great transparency and energy.

Had this 2008 in Lyon. I could drink this every night of my life.

Really a wonderful Burgundy for the always reliable (and now quite pricey) Bize. This 17 Savigny is in a great spot. High toned, balanced, refreshing acids, good mix of earth and fruit. Perfect pairing with the classic Sunday roast chicken with mushrooms. Tonight drinking better and more enjoyable than the several premier crus we have enjoyed from him in the past few years.

2022/10. This was a bit wilder than I’m used to for this wine - perhaps a bit reduced as well. It was probably just young as it improved with air but ideally needs a couple of years.

Yum. Forrest after a rain, pine, pomegranate, sweet earl grey tea. Fantastic. Bize, bitches.

Fresh tannins that back up the bright red fruit. Could probably use another couple of year for it to come together, but easy drinking and will be a favorite as the summer weather sets in.
