Les Bourgeots Savigny-lès-Beaune Pinot Noir

Too young, but promises to be quite nice. Right now this all wound up and mostly about texture - but it's lovely texture!

Day 1 was kind of tight. Day 2 notes: cranberry and white cracked pepper immediately jump out on the nose with a sweet violet after a couple sniffs. Still some good drying tannins costing the tongue and tip of the palate with acidity hitting under the tongue. There’s more of the cranberry, violet, cinnamon and black pepper here. It’s yum. Can use a couple years.

シモン・ビーズは初体験。サヴィニ・レ・ボーヌらしく赤い小さな実に土など。少し酸化しているのか、グリオットのような香りも。もっと洗練させるか、チャーミングにするのか、深みを出すのか方向性を明確にして欲しいところ。

Impressive but a little more extracted than I usually go for.
