Venturing a little out my comfort zone. This wine shows the characteristic aromas of “tar and roses” plus I get some leather hints as well. It is light colored and opaque with just a tiny show of bricking around the edge. Lots of bright cherries and red plums on the palate with dusty tannins which are nicely integrated. The acidity is really nice. I am really liking this wine.

Still good. But I would decant and drink now. Plenty of tannins. Rose, cherry and leather. Man is this tannic. Violets. Very classic.

Will take the bottle home and then add to the notes. Needs time in the glass at least one hour to open up. Blackberry pie. This needs more time I would say revisit in 3 years or so. For the money ~ 50$ at the 3rd Corner a really good deal. Sold out or 70$ elsewhere. Continues to get better on day 2 under Argon.
