Didn’t take notes at the time, but this was an interesting blend of Syrah (49%) with Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mourvèdre that was dark and brambly with notes of coffee and Turkish delight. Tim Atkin’s likening of this to a Crozes Hermitage / Dao hybrid is an apt take.

Nov 9th, 2021Not sure what to make of this. Opens up with bit of air and has a odd nose though not overly unpleasant. Bit rustic and quite a rounded then dry and sharp finish.. One for food ideally.
