Carignan from Cali? Maybe not the most popular varietal from the sun shiny state but oh boy, SO GOOD! 75 year old, organic, dry farmed vines that show every bit of their terroir. Raspberry, blackberry and perfect balanced. A+

Love the varietal just not sure about this wine is the penultimate expression. Takes some time to open up but once flowered itโ€™s nice. A bit fruity but not overly so which is a plus for me. Smooth with a nice finish.

Great notes of cherry and leather from a typical blending grape. Good acid and medium body.

Everything you want in a fruit forward wine. Balance, acidity, ripeness without over extraction, amazing nose, medium body. Gluggable.

Big round dark fruit. Blackberry. Maybe lavender? Moderately tannic, decent touch of acid. Want to drink it with some rich, gamey meat. Good value.

Excellent! Raspberry liquor and barrel spices. Some complexity but excellent aromatics and good acidity.

A gift from my favorite talent in wine. Leathery, blackberries and various dark fruits with mild acidity.
