Siduri
Hirsch Vineyard Fort Ross-Seaview Pinot Noir

2012 Siduri Hirsch Vineyard. The inimitable Adam Lee pouring his second coming of Hirsch pinot. When the block he had worked with since 1995 had it's last hurrah in 2011, he moved to a new section of the famed vineyard. The result is further evidence of Hirsch & Adam's greatness.

Still vibrant classic sour black cherry aromas. Rich and full with velvet finish . Too bad he no longer makes wine from this property

Feb 1st, 2020This is unlike any hirsh I have ever had - much more intense, but also less elegant. It will be interesting to see how this progresses.
