Sidewood Estate
Adelaide Hills Chardonnay
Little more on the oaky side for my palate but a good wine.

Jul 13th, 2021A: clear, pale yellow
N: citrus and green apple
P: dry, light, fresh, subtle simple flavors of apple, grape, smoke, and floral nectar that work surprisingly well together. Great balance. Flavorful but not powerful. Outstanding at that price.

Not too oaky (which is a positive in my book).

Dec 28th, 2019Moderately dense amber gold. Oaky, but more in a spicy cola, Root beer, pine needle way with sweeter aromas as well. Impressive acidity, with citrus and crushed rock finish. I want to revisit.

Mar 12th, 201715' far less oak time. All about the acidity here and it's crisp line. For $20 absolutely unreal. Enjoying it over the Mappinga Chardonnay at the moment
