Mar 5th, 2018Spritzy lime pith, string bean, and wax - this Kerner from David Ramey’s second label is tactile, lithe, and showing rather youthful. Who knew this grape even grew in Lodi? A lovely accompaniment to the black pepper tofu I made from the Ottolenghi cookbook and Der Rosenkavalier in the background.

Jun 20th, 2016Not as aromatic as comparable Northern Italian équivalent, the Californian Kerner is dry and pleasant with exotic fruit on the palate and short, but pleasant finish. Try it with Chinese food.
