Too much sulphur and first. Decant the f out of it. Then it softens to cherry but the alcohol keeps hitting the back of my throat hard. To be fair, this is a lovely, well-made wine, but it’s just a little more alcohol forward than it needs to be. Residual sweetness in the aftertaste.

Big nose and an explosion of sour cherry and cranberry. Long finish of tart fruit that makes you pucker for more. This is hard to drink slowly.
