Very very sweet, like Welch's grape juice mixed with Communion wine. Has the color and consistency of cherry juice diluted 50%. There's some tangy bright acidity, and some of the classic nutty, raisiny quality of port. It's not bad, but there's much better in the same price range.

Aug 4th, 2016Total Wine ... a bit too strong in the alcohol taste at first but then the berry and black cherry lingers on the tongue. ..a very good dessert wine for relaxing after a long day. ..it only takes a few sips to begin to unwind. ..don't let the cost of that small bottle fool you. ..a very small glass of this wine is enough and it is best to enjoy all the surprising notes of this wine in small sips.
