Fresh raspberry, cranberry, peach, apricot, and tropicals. Rosemary, white pepper, and watercress. Weighty and creamy. Intensely aromatic. Elevated (relative to roses) concentration (pink-salmon), acidity, and body.

Aug 15th, 2015This is an odd one. On the nose, there's some of the new world sauvignon blanc grassiness. It's there on the palate a bit, as well. Quaffable, breezy. L'été, quoi.

100% Cabernet Franc Rose’. Beautiful light salmon color. Pronounced mineral on the nose and pallet with hints of watermelon and a bit of dark cherry, strawberry and citrus. A little bit of pepper spice. Medium tangy acidity and a crunchy texture. A small amount of heft but still light bodied. Very “Loire-like.” Revisited in June 2020. Nice!

Apr 13th, 2023100% Finger Lakes Cabernet Franc Rose’. Beautiful salmon color. Aromas and flavors of cherry and blackberry along with touches of pepper spice, grilled poblano pepper and herbs. Acidity is well balanced. (Probably due to 6 grams of RS). Fresh, zesty and lively. Good aperitif.

Oct 18th, 2022Maybe this is too young of a vintage but I found it to be lacking the signature fruit and wood of an upstate New York rose.
