Gorgeous perfume - I could smell this for hours. Medium weight on the palate with those trade mark silky tannins. Noticeable whole bunch influence. Coal River in Tasmania is hot right now for the production of top class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Interestingly the grapes are taken in refrigerated containers to the Adelaide Hills for vinification at Shaw and Smith.

Beautiful wine, like 1er Cru Pommard with more herbs and easier acudity. Medium body, fine med plus acidity and a great match with food. Persistent long finish. Just terrific

Had the Chardonnay recently and it was fantastic so thought I would try the Pinot. It did not disappoint. I am still learning about Pinots but this was full flavoured and went well with a big steak. Not cheap but worth splashing out on for the experience.
