At the Shaw and Smith cellar door tasting yesterday. From their aged release programme. One of those occasions when the younger wine (M3) shows much better the older Cuvée. A creamy texture over the 2019 without the Flint and minerality of the younger wine. A great match with triple cream Brie.

Elegant , complexed . Apples, lemon , hint of peach . Creamy . Stunning Chardonnay that would give the best of Burgundy a match in any blind tasting

In a blind tasting thought it was French. Take that how you will.

Incredibly well balanced. Rich, racy, mineral, would have called this white burgundy without doubt blind

Such a great chard. Warmed up a little. Cashew, nougat, honeydew, oak, apricot and oatmeal aromas with a grapefruit pithy like palate.

What the fuck. These blokes cant go wrong. One of the best South Aus chard's I've ever had. Confectionary peach, yoyo biscuits, toasted oak and green apple skins. I'd bath in it.
