This has the profile of a top tier napa cab with a twist...fine grained tannins, beautiful oak and pure cab fruit but loaded with rs and the perfect amount of acidity to balance it out. I've never had anything like it. Fantastic wine, kudos to Shafer.

Rare find —100% cab dessert wine. Paired well with chocolate bread pudding, but needs at least a decade.

This was a first impression for me but one which will be impressed for a long time. I have not had another Port which has come close to this effort. Bravo. Almost prefect!
