Received as a gift, Aged for 11 months in French oak (24% new), Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits and herb scents. Plum and tart cherry on the palate with heavy pepper spice. Dusty dry tannins, short finish ending with earthy herb tones. Past prime, drink now if you have one!

This is quite good but it's not as solid as a typical Cabernet. Good mouth feel and finish but just a little weak in the taste department.

Dark Ruby aromas of dark red fruits with pronounced earthy herb spices. The palate shows blackberry with pungent oaky tomato leaf herb spice. Tannins are biting that stick, leaving a medium(-) finish ending with odd/off spicy character. In a word “awful.” Tasting Sample.

Was a good wine paired with skirt steak and brussel sprouts. The ratings are close to accurate. Let decanter for 5 hours to get a great experience. Flavors fully opened up with strong notes of berries, has a dryer finish, but is completely complimentary to the Brazilian skirt steak dish. Starting to tell the difference with cheaper wines. Time to start spending the additional 10$ for wine that has some more background. Would absolutely get this again. Great night in and hanging with friends wine.

The smoothness of this wine after 5 hours with this steak was unbelievable. Towards the end of the steak and sauce. The flavors gelled together beautifully similar to a new song you found that you cannot stop playing. Great experience wine. Would highly recommend. You need to decanter for awhile.

Average. Total Wine in Vegas, Marie, recommended- it's like that Seinfeld episode where Elaine was choosing her VCR movie rentals on staff recommendations. I need to move to another staff's section.

Another "winery direct" selection that at one time was available for all CT retailers/restaurants to buy/sell, but now is only available through 1 big box chain. I used to love their Zin, never had the Cab until now. Not bad for a $12 Cab Sauv. Definitely on the lighter side of medium bodied. Neutral bouquet with hints of baking spice. Cinnamon & dark cherries dark pit fruit coming though on the palate with a faint Cigar & plum skin after taste. Little to no tannin structure. Short dry finish. Overall it's an easy drinking Cab at an affordable price. Nothing too complex, not and over the top fruit bomb. Balanced and nothing more going on, but for this meatloaf dinner it's actually perfect.
