This is in a wonderful place currently. First experience with Serafin, I'm impressed how well this wine handled the oak. Lovely.

'07 vintage - Really pretty right now. Not a whole lot of stuffing, but no green notes and showing very nicely.

Starting to hit stride, the '07 is a balance of red fruits, underbrush, acidity, and fine tannins. Enjoyable!

Going away present for a friend off to North Korea. Might be his last wine. 17 year old berry bros tip. Black currant, strawberry, leather. Liquorice. Rich, elegant, bright acidity. Interesting tasting an aged Pinot.
