Consistently great. Not saying it’s in the same echelon, but the flavors remind me of Schrader To Kalon.

It’s my sort of Napa cab, without the nosebleed at the checkout. Rich, plush nose of coffee and maple syrup. Presents with depth and texture on the palate. Tannins are ripe, indicating longevity. I’m going back to the well!

Nice to come back to this after a bit! Definitely more balanced than I even remember. Earthy and full and drank well with the aerator and then opened over the next week.

Muted fruits, never really opened up even after a day. underwhelming for WS top 100. Shrimp and scallop mushroom risotto.

Rich and chewy. Exhibits lush blackberry, mocha, toasty oak, and tobacco leaf. A big wine, not extracted but really pushing the limit that way. Nice and well rounded choice, if not alluring. A WS Top 100.
