1 person found it helpfulFeb 21st, 2017Pretty deep with slightly wider rim than the 2010. Less explosive on the aroma than the 2010 , bit more austere and darker , more mineral less fruit. On the palate darker fruit , a bit more extract than the 2010 , tannins slightly more marked , though less elegant as a result . Ok length , slightly more herbaceous, chalky finish drying finish . This can go on a little longer though is unlikely to improve. Drink Over the next 5 years .

Dec 16th, 2022Instant hit of lovely fruit and smooth but structured composure. Plenty of tannins dancing around but smooth and integrated. Leave in glass an hour and heads towards a pomerol feel. Fantastic and a real star. Love this and excellent value at £60 a bottle.
