Bencark for a well made Sonoma County Zin. Rich & ripe without being raisined, oak is there but not overdone. Bravo!

Aromas of Blueberry, smoked herbs and leather. Woody plum, dried cherries, those smoked herbs and black licorice on the pallet. Complex yet restrained, but there is a “tannic edge” to this wine. Not a jammy fruit bomb by any means. Bottle notes that the vines that produced the grapes for this wine are at least 50 years old. Could use a decant. Great compliment to Burgers and Dogs!

Notes of blueberry, black plum and leather on the nose. Nice lingering finish with a balance if tannins and acidity.
