Old Vine Dry Creek Valley Carignane

Light and fragrant. Nicely done. Took some air to get going.

Light fruit and heavy oak.

Nice fruit that opened up w a little air time. Pretty easy sipper. I have a few more and hopefully will be more attentive to the next one.

Red Fruit, light, oak, not much in the way of terroir.

Red raspberry is the predominant aromas in this wine. Pretty much the same on the palate. Not a bad drinking wine, has a medium finish. It is an interesting grape and I will try again.

Very drinkable red - medium bodied so not too big. Had it with a fresh grilled steak and it held up well.

Structure still holding strong. Light oak, dark Flavors with hints of tobacco and spice

Not bad with a nice steak...decant for at least an hour

Lots of oak, not much varietal flavor/aroma.

So tasty!
