Nah so far. Check again tomorrow. Tossed it. Tooooo much vanilla.

Feb 20th, 2018Sour cherry, sour plum, underripe raspberry, chocolate, tobacco. Hugely structured and austere at first, bit much better on day two. Lots of underripe red fruit with chocolate and spice notes. Med+ acidity and medium tannins.
Great stuff but seems like it will be better in a few years time. Drinking '16 in early '23.

Feb 3rd, 2018Unique expression of a super Tuscan. Not very fruit forward. The Cab Franc really pushes to the front on this one. Low tannins, med acid. Great drinkable wine. From one of my favorite places, San Gimingano. Too bad American marketers felt the need to plaster the bottle and label with "Suckling 93" stickers. This wine stands on its own and needs no gimmicks to sell. Excellent sub $20 wine.
