Aroma: cassis, coconut, oak, vanilla, spice and undergrowth. Perfect! Very old world taste with notes of dark fruits, berry, rasberrries, coffee and peppercorn. Amazing mouth feel with great balance and med acidity. Top value!

Sipping Fine Wine

Very dark with aromas of dark Berry fruit and spice. On the palate for this 5 grape blend are cherry and plum flavors with oak and herbal spice. Wild acidity with reasonable good balance. Tannins are firm but calmed down after wine was open for a bit. This wine had medium length finish but lacks aging potential. Drink now. Tasting Sample.

earthy, oak but a bit light for cab. A bit plain for me.

Pair with chicken and grilled beef

Not very sweet, but not too dry. Would maybe buy again.

Really good wine. It went well with steak kabobs.

...is this not the best $15 Cab out there? I had some 06' Cabs and Merlots in the cellar that I probably paid $8 for in Publix and I would put them up against any 14' offering that you paid $75 for... How is this winery not more respected?

Kind of a middle of the road cab... not bad, but nothing spectacular jumped out. I suppose it is very balanced, very little sweetness, lots of plum.
