This is another time-traveler wine. Its ripe, slightly pruny, spicy aromas remind me of various Novarese (now called “Alto Piemonte”) or Veronese Ripassos from the 70s and early 80s. Lots of clingy dark fruit, leather, and other savory notes. Satisfying and completely working class in the best way.

Open at least an hour before drinking , of course on day 3 it is even better . Sean's wines are always beautiful . This is classy , but slightly too much coconut influence from the oak for me . But cherries , spice and all things nice .

A gorgeous wine. Served with chicken confit, potatoes fondant and asparagus. Light, smooth, and multidimensional. We caught notes of cherries, licorice and spice.
