Pleiades XXVII Old Vine California Red Table Wine 2017

Really loved this one. Light red. Pepper and raisins on the nose. Tannic and acidic. Will definitely get again — a month ago

Sean Minor

Napa Valley Red Blend

This was recommended at the wine store. I was about to select a red blend that was a little more expensive when a salesperson suggested I try the Sean Minor version. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great nose. Smooth. Easy to drink. Went very well with a good tomato sauce. I'll be getting it again this week. — 2 months ago

Southern White Viognier Blend 2019

Sean Boyd really knows how to capture the acidity in this blend. More melon, Honeysuckle, and lemon notes than last year, but still an underlying mineral note. Persistent, lip-smacking finish. — 15 days ago

Pleiades California Rosé 2019

If a full throttled in-your-face Sangiovese rosé is your thing...go for it. Certainly not my style of rosé but I’m sure it will delight many a hedonistic Californian palate. — 2 months ago

Mountains Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

Dark purple in color with a short purple rim. Not showing age at all.

On the nose blackberries, blueberries, currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, spices, vegetables, bitter herbs, graphite, chocolates, earth, celery, peppercorn and tobacco. Great complexity on the nose.

Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, currants, cedar, earth, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, bell pepper, vegetables, tobacco, celery, peppercorn, dark chocolates and coffee.

Nice finish with fine grained tannins.

This is a very tasty Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel. Earthier than I expected it to be at this point.

I had this vintage 5 years ago, and it seems better now, although I figured that much of the vegetable notes will go away by now. Nose is much nicer than the palate.

This 10 year old needs 3 hours to open up properly, although much fruitier right out of the bottle.

Thank you Sean for sharing this with me.

Peaking now and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.

I paired it with light appetizers.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in French oak barrels (65% new). A small production of only 7 barrels.

14.8% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

Howell Mountain Merlot 2014

You give Merlot a good name! Just spectacular. They will never make enough of this. So glad to have a private viewing again a few weeks ago. One of my favorite merlots. @Sean Capiaux — a month ago
