Sea Sun California Pinot Noir

Plenty of fruit. Plums, cherry and slight tannins

A Wagner offering, Medium Ruby with aromas of red fruit, with floral and toasty earthy spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and red plum, with cedar and earthy notes. Ok balance, lively acidity, fine tannins ending with herbs and earthy mineral. Drink now, no aging benefit.

Flat, flabby, varietally incorrect, too high in alcohol with vegetal and stewy off-flavors.

Light enough to drink with anything. Easy drinker.

Medium ruby color. Aromas of cooked cherries, vanilla, leather and baking spices. Bold fruit forward palate featuring cherry, raspberry and blackberry with hints of milk chocolate, cola and vanilla. Strange aftertaste (chemical) on the relatively short and smoky finish. Creamy texture, a bit sweet and very low on acid and tannins. Eh. Thanks for the taste, John P!

Lots of red fruit with vanilla/oak. Enjoyed the first sip more than the last. Felt it became flat over time (too sweet).

The sourness remains consistently prominent, masking any discernible flavor profiles throughout the entire tasting experience.

Cherry, oak, smoke, and a touch of pepper. I’d have never guessed it was Pinot noir on a blind test but it’s fruity with the tannins and boldness of a Cabernet Sauvignon.
