Age has given this an elegant focused quality. Earthy peat, baking spice and cherries. Drink 'em if you got 'em.

Dec 31st, 2014Nice, bottle age has helped this wine settled down a bit. Fruit Red/Black cherries, somewhat of a orange rind on the nose. Some earthy notes and barrel program still evident(think mostly new), plenty of acidity but some heat still present. Overall matched well with the tartare.

Jun 21st, 2014Where do I start. I thought that this Pinot might be getting old, but nothing could be further from the truth. Dark fruits on the nose, full bodied and mouth coating. This is the wine that turned us on to Pinot Noir and for good reason. Very sad that it is the last Southing from 2005, but we have a Ten.
