XI. Whirlwind's Heart Carneros Pinot Noir

So much character for a Pinot Noir. Lots of soft earth on the nose. Like walking through a foggy forest.

One of the more compelling Pinot Noirs I’ve ever tasted (though my repertoire is yet pretty narrow). Luscious ripe red and white cherries turn into red licorice, above soulful bass notes of loamy, turned earth, peppery wild herbs/spices and dusty potpourri. Lively acid and a loooong happy finish.
