Dark fruit and spice. Smooth and well balanced. This is an excellent SLH Pinot that is hitting its stride at 5 years in the bottle.

This is an SLH Pinot from the winemaker who brought Wrath to prominence. The nose is lovely charred fruit. On the palate dark cherry, cooked strawberry, rhubarb and dark fruit. In the finish moderate-plus acid with some tannins to boot. Well done.

This bottle had no packaging problems, and I confirmed my previous rating. On first opening, the ethanol was fairly noticeable, and the tannins a bit green. After decanting and sitting, things improved. Still very silky with nice acidity. Developed a chocolate note after a bit. Good stuff. Should wait a year or two before opening.

Silky smooth mouthfeel and racy acidity. A packaging error had me questioning the fruit but the wine was enjoyable nonetheless.
