Great complement to our flank steak fajitas. Medium to medium light tannins, not quite velvet but smooth, wonderful combination of berry flavors.

2016 on Nov. 24, 2019. Will open up nicely to well balanced tannins and old barrel woody spice. Let it breath.

Sour bing cherry, inky raspberry sauce, dried leaves, dill, pencil lead, and dirty tobacco. Strong mid-palate that doesn’t get overpowered by oak or heat. Wise choice to age this in a blend of large French casks and new American oak. Develops restrain and youthfulness. Drinking a baby here.

Good. Medium tannins, medium finish, some berry fruit notes on the nose and mid palate. But not tons of complexity. Might be interesting to see what this tastes like in a few years but this was young and tastes young.
