Sweet baby jesus!!!

Calistoga day and we visited Schramsberg. We went there for the bubbles so this extra tasting was a real treat. Schramsberg was my second favorite tasting experience of the trip. This wine was huge, powerful, elegant, and needs about 10 to 15 years to truly evolve. Definitely was a wow wine, but not sure the value is there for the price.

2013 tasting smooth as silk. Boysenberry and blueberry notes up front with some minerality at end.

Definitely a day 2 wine at this young age. Minty blue mountain fruit. Still a few years away from its prime window.

2014 is fantastic. Smooth with mellow tannins but I could see this wine age for years. Still some fruit forward but with some soft mineral/earthiness with just some cigar tones. I could drink this everyday

First Jamie and boy what a winner. Amazing fruit, spice, and balance. Just terrific.

Black marble. Fresh plum. Smooth ‘n’ sweet. Dried fig. Thick legs (LOL).

Probably should let it age a bit but couldn't resist. Just phenomenal.
