this Scramsberg is very good. No need to buy French stuff, when the domestic product is so strong.
Delicate, toasty nose. Superfine bubbles which help to lift the texture. Baked bread and biscuits. Finishes with a hint of honey. Strong showing.

Very impressed with this US bubbly. Light on its feet, a hint of sweetness, and pin-point bubbles. Presents as a French example.

Vintage '91

The first vintage was 1965 s tart Chardonnay with notes of candied ginger this is the first of its kind in California mom and dad met in San Fran. Mom sold painting dad a Stanford guy.
