Wowsa! That's a big chunk of wine. Hammer and chisel time. Give it a decade at least.

Beneath the rich dense fruit, are the dark licorice notes.

2009. Tension between bright and black is enthralling..

Very complex domestic wine with a range of flavors including dark berries, licorice, black tea and hints of olives. The wine has a lasting bouquet that is awesome.

Decided to give Scholium Project another shot and I realize that I like the concept more and than I like the wines. They’re always just too bold and out there for my taste. This one is alcoholic, jammy and raisiny, but also weirdly acidic. Something different, but not my jam (pun intended).
