Nice Italian Primitivo (aka Zinfandel) from Puglia. Deep blackberry, strong tannins and intense (18% alcohol) but well blended and smooth.

Cigars. It tastes like I'm chewing on a leather belt. So much is going on in my mouth right now. This wine is 18%... EIGHTEEN PERCENT! It's like a liqueur. You can taste the alcohol, but in a good way. Impressive primitivo.
