As per Russian wedding tradition, 2 bottles of Champagne/sparkling are presented to just married: first to be opened year since marriage, whilst second by birth of child. This one was opened year after birth of child :)

Elegant, lively, harmonious & neat Sekt “Méthode Traditionelle” by Austrian´s oldest sparkling producer (since 1842). Made of Welschriesling, Chardonnay & Pinot Blanc, matured on lees for 18 months.

Soft golden color, light brass glitters
Stable & picturesque perlage.
Enticingly fresh aromas of sun-dried apricot, buckwheat honey, hay, tangerine, nectarines, crème brûlée.
Complex, finely structured palate of light+ body, crispy and growing acidity. Stonefruits (soaked apples, white plum), citrus (orange, kumquat), touch of peach and creamy yeast.
Persistent finish, scented by apples, white grapefruit, white currant.
Pair: eel baked in sour cream.

Nose of sour pear, tart green apple and slate. Palette is similar, but finishes with a bizarre taste like fake sugar. Bubbles are overly aggressive.
