Its always nice to experience these older bottlings of Schloss Schönborn. This wine has changed since I last had it even 6 months ago. Very secondary and layered. White truffle and blanched cashew abound along with a resinous honeyed richness. Chamomile tea and lime curd join in on the palate. Tremendous acid allows this the finish to go on seemingly endlessly.

This was one of those wines that I can honestly say without any doubt that it does not suck. Great minerality bright crisp fruit and razor sharp focus. Absolutely pleasure to drink.

Petrol & white tea on the nose, honeydew, pineapple & light floral notes, med plus acidity. Proper aged #riesling that is still peppy #schlossschonborn

Petrol! Lots of petrol, blanched nuts, lime meringue, stonefruit blossom, ripe white peach, white tea, green banana, hints of radish and a huge mineral presence. The spine of acidity is vibrant and focused. Awesome

Sort of meh. Old but not good. Tart. Not super mineral.

Old resiling never disappoints. Petrol on the nose like they talk about, looks and smelled like kerosene. Once after getting a little air the must wore off and flavors of white flowers, candied peach, and apricot paired harmoniously with still high flying acidity. Lovely wine.

The nose on this baby could have started a conflagration. It was ⛽️ through and through. The flavors were integrated in a way a younger Riesling can't achieve. Honey, acid, and a 60 second finish made this the white of the night. Bravo Ted

Def enough tasting notes so wouldn't want to elaborate too much but chamomile lychee honey and green tea pretty much sum this up. Some rs backed with Decent acidity but certainly not gonna write home about it.. Cheers!
