I can't say I've had many "older" Rieslings, but I really enjoyed this. I thought I might be put off by the sweetness, but the acid really balanced it out.I t had that interesting "pool toy" plastic and honeysuckle on the nose, and tasted like poached pears, lime zest, green apple, wet stone, and a hint of subtle green herbs. Even with intense acid, it was easy to drink.The sweetness went well with the brined and seared pork chops we had for dinner. The bottle was empty before I knew it!
