Gobelsburger Langenlois Grüner Veltliner

2016 vintage. Good typicity. Great streak of acid with flavors of chalky rock, poached pear, parsnip, lime peel, super light leesiness, green almond skin.

Somewhat tropical for gruner. Pineapple husk and sugar snap peas. Spritz and acid drive this wine.

Will seek out again

Pretty light and easy to drink. Affordable.

Very accessible and bright. Nice sweetness without being treacly. Perfect balance with the spicy Indian dinner.

Crisp mouth feel, slightly sweet, standard Riesling

Typical Austrian Veltliner. Just right acidity, decent yellow colour. If you find it on sale, don't hesidate to vuy it 😉

Good body, good acidity for a Riesling, slightly effervescent. Green apple, lemon, slate.

Refreshing, super clean finish, great for drinking on its own. Had with pork-mushroom dumplings with baby Napa cabbage and then (the next night) rice egg spinach goat cheese quesadillas, tasted fine.

Break it Down: Apples class. All the chalky minerals on the nose. The texture was apple skin. A very unique profile
