Nothing like a good whole roasted chicken to show off the wine. So concentrated & pure, slightly oily. Kerosene & rock candy on the nose. The sweetness comes in waves, with pitch perfect acidity & poached pear, green grapes, & some floral thing on the palate. Intense, never cloying. What a wine from what a vintage.

A juicy Nahe Kabinett of breadth. Apple jam, pear compote, petrol with a subtle sweaty flavor. Palate coating, just the right amount of sweetness, and beaming with acid.

This showed amazing minerality on the nose, with wet and crushed stone, olive, herbs, tropical citrus, lemon zest, and hint of wool--it's almost savory. On the palate, it displayed tremendous energy and verve with a remaining hint of Co2, which blew off quickly to reveal rich citrus tones offset by vibrant, pulsing acidity and mineral thrust. It is a beautiful Kabinett, in perfect balance, and hard to put down.

Open and ready for business. Great intensity with ripe acids, combined with citrus and fresh pineapple flavor. Fantastic.

Very good. Good complexity for a kabinett. Acid levels balance the residual sugar.
