Another Geeky Sauvignon Blanc from a region known more for another white varietal (in this case, Friulano). Ripe, crunchy, and with notable fresh herb aromas. Spot on!

Master Sommelier @Bobby Stuckey makes the case for Northern Italy's Friuli being the perfect home for Sauvignon Blanc. His single-vineyard rendition for his Italian wine project Scarpetta is fermented in stanless and aged on it's lees for uber-freshness, intoxicating aromatics of yellow fruit & green herbs and racy acidity as a counterpoint to its mid-bodied weight.
